The position of Product Portfolio Project Manager is within our Toxicology business unit located fully remotely. This role, under minimal supervision plans, organizes and manages all global Toxicology product lines from conceptual stages through product life cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the development and execution of strategic and tactical marketing programs that optimize profits, marketing and corporate growth objectives

  • Participate in product market analysis reviews, provide design recommendations and definitions, participate on product development programs and oversee product launch for new product lines / product SKUs

  • Lead product packaging and labeling/artwork process (creation, revision and/or customization) for any/all products within business segment and effectively communicate/collaborate with launch teams to ensure effective product launch within Quality Assurance requirements. Assist US Sales Managers with product portfolio development for key customers.

  • Develop internal / customer communications related to product change / replacement / discontinuation

  • Collaborate with internal teams on product/market competitor analysis. Act as an interface between regional sales teams and Quality/Regulatory teams on international registration activities, communicating and managing timeline expectations and product requirements.

  • Understand and be aware of the quality assurance consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job; have awareness of device defects that may occur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verification and validation, manufacturing and testing activities

  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices; build productive internal/external working relationships

  • Carry out duties in compliance with established business policies

  • Other duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 or more years’ of experience managing product labelling, ideally in the IVD and/or medical device industry.

  • Ability to set and meet tight deadlines and function well under pressure.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once while prioritizing in relation to changing business direction.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong project management / organizational skills. 

  • Ability to work autonomously, able to drive to deadlines, engaging cross functional teams as needed.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, some PowerPoint).

  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BSc in Marketing, Biology, Business or related discipline or relevant experience.

  • Prior project management and product launch experience.

  • Leadership qualities; a team player.

  • Process orientated, detailed, logical, analytical, able to analyze data and implement solutions.

  • Ability to learn and asses new technology quickly.

  • Experience of working with international stakeholders and multifunctional, globally dispersed teams is desirable.
