Mechatronic or automation engineer with experience on robotic workcell development. Conduct research, develop, and test software and hardware for next-generation robotic manipulation solutions. Identifying creative solutions for challenging problems in robotics and computer vision
Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or similar.
Industrial robot programing experience (KRL, RAPID, KAREL,…) and gripper(s), ideally in an industrial context
Fluent in mechanical design, electrical systems and software
Experience working with sensors, motors and other electro-mechanical system
Experience analysing processes and generating solutions from conceptualization to prototype.
Mechanical CAD software (solidworks, Catia,…)
Hands-on experience with robotic platform in simulation and real hardware
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Nice to have:
Experience with EtherCAT, Modbus or similar
Experience with process design based on Lean principles
