The primary function of the Service Transition department is to design and deploy solutions for NTT customers that implement or transform their IT infrastructure estates using NTTCom MS services.
The Service Transition Specialist reports directly to the Service Transition Team Leader who will provide both line management and leadership of major projects and pre-sales.
The Service Transition Specialist role provides the following important functions within the ST team:
• Supporting Service Transition Managers in the delivery of complex solution Service Transition Specialist For External Use
• Providing administrative services, for example tooling set-up and reporting
• Assistance to the pre-sales team in scoping of the Set-up phase and professional services.
The role provides a fantastic opportunity for individual development, through interaction with experienced project management professionals and learning to lead customer projects of increasing complexity.
Working at NTT
Supporting Service Transition Managers in the delivery of complex solution • Ensure that the delivery follows NTT CMS best practices for project management and delivery processes • Close working with Technical Leads and Engineers for solution implementation • Devise and distribute tasks for the service implementation • Track execution of tasks, supervising staff and suppliers as needed • Manage risks and issues, escalating to manager if appropriate • Ensure costs are managed within budget • Perform a structured close down of the delivery and transition into support and billing Departmental Support Providing administrative services in tooling set-up and reporting • Project Admin tasks for internal tools (NBOSS, Service Now and Jira) • Backlog reporting and follow up • Project reporting on progress tracking • Project reporting on Profitability Interface with other departments • Interface between operations and order management • Assistance to the pre-sales team in scoping the professional services. • Profitability analysis of the Set-up of complex and standard projects • Assistance in the pre-sales scoping of the Set-up and professional services.
What will make you a good fit for the role?
The candidate must possess the following skills: • Administrative skills gained in an IT project or delivery environment • Experience in a customer service environment, both by telephone and face-to-face. • Conceptual understanding of IT technology, networking and the Internet. • Proven ability to meet high standards of written and oral communications with customers. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Proven ability to work under pressure and with other people.
